Agricultural technology knowledge: the difference between nitrate sulfur sulfur chlorine urea based compound fertilizer
In recent years, farmers use compound fertilizer more and more frequently, and the compound fertilizer market in Hefei is also full of varieties. Do you really understand the difference between nitrate sulfur based, sulfur based, chlorine based and urine based compound fertilizers? Let's take you to know.
Nitrate sulfur based compound fertilizer
It refers to the compound fertilizer made of nitrogen provided by ammonium nitrate and potassium derived from potassium sulfate or removing chloride ion from potassium chloride. No biuret, chloride ion less than 3%.
Sulfur based compound fertilizer
It refers to the compound fertilizer made by using potassium sulfate as the source of potassium or removing chloride ion from potassium chloride, and the content of chloride ion shall not exceed 3%, otherwise it is chlorine based compound fertilizer.
Chlorine based compound fertilizer
It refers to that potassium exists in the form of potassium chloride, which can be divided into monochloride and double chlorine products. Monochloride refers to that except that potassium is in the form of potassium chloride, nitrogen is made of urea and other chloride free ions. Double chlorine is the compound product obtained by potassium in the form of potassium chloride and nitrogen in the form of ammonia chloride.
Urea based compound fertilizer
It refers to that the nitrogen element in the compound fertilizer is obtained in the form of urea. The urea based compound fertilizer is generally a high nitrogen product, especially the compound fertilizer with nitrogen element content of more than 20. Ammonia chloride and ammonium bicarbonate can not produce such a high nitrogen content.
Among the four compound fertilizers with the same ratio, nitrate sulfur based compound fertilizer is the most expensive, but the comparison between chlorine based and urine based compound fertilizer is complex. Monochloride products are generally urine based compound fertilizer, and the price of double chlorine compound fertilizer is slightly lower than the same content of urine based compound fertilizer.
Different composition
Nitrate sulfur based compound fertilizer: it contains nitrate nitrogen, which can be directly absorbed by crops.
Sulfur based compound fertilizer: it contains low chloride ion, less than 3% according to the national standard, and contains a large amount of sulfur, which can effectively improve the symptoms of soil sulfur deficiency.
Chlorine based compound fertilizer: it contains a large amount of chlorine, which has an adverse impact on chlorine sensitive crops.
Urea based compound fertilizer: nitrogen is urea (amide nitrogen). Urea is hydrolyzed into ammonium carbonate or ammonium bicarbonate by urease secreted by soil microorganisms in the soil. When the water is appropriate, the higher the temperature, the faster the hydrolysis, the faster the conversion to ammonium carbonate, and the faster the fertilizer effect. Ammonium carbonate is very unstable. Therefore, when applying urea based compound fertilizer, the soil should be covered deeply to prevent nitrogen loss.
Different process
Nitrate sulfur based compound fertilizer: the mixture of nitrate and sulfate containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. The raw materials are high-quality nitrate phosphorus fertilizer and potassium sulfate. It has high nitrogen and potassium, reasonable formula, good solubility, rapid fertilizer effect, conducive to the absorption of phosphorus, potassium and other nutrients, high fertilizer utilization rate, avoiding or reducing the accumulation of nitrite in plants. It belongs to high quality, high efficiency, green and environmental protection A new pollution-free compound fertilizer.
Sulfur based compound fertilizer: the content of chloride ion is very low, and the chloride ion is removed in the production process.
Chlorine based compound fertilizer: during the production process, the chloride ions harmful to chlorine avoiding crops are not removed, so the product contains a large amount of chlorine.
Urine based compound fertilizer: in the production process, the molten urine made of urea or the molten urine made by heating solid urea and potassium chloride or potassium sulfate are prepared into slurry.
Different application ranges
Nitrate sulfur based compound fertilizer: it is suitable for dry field crops, especially for sulfur loving and chlorine avoiding crops or sulfur deficient and saline alkali soil. There is no residual pollution. It can be used as base fertilizer or topdressing to meet the nutrient needs of crops in different growth periods.
Sulfur based compound fertilizer: suitable for all kinds of soils and crops, and can effectively improve the appearance and quality of all kinds of cash crops, and can significantly improve the grade of agricultural products.
Chlorine based compound fertilizer: it has adverse effects on the yield and quality of chlorine sensitive crops, and seriously reduces the economic benefits of this kind of cash crops.
Urea based compound fertilizer: it is easy to produce biuret in the production process. When it is used as seed fertilizer, it should be isolated from seed fertilizer.
Different fertilizer efficiency
Nitrate sulfur based compound fertilizer: compared with other traditional compound fertilizers, it has high nitrogen and potassium, reasonable formula, good solubility, rapid fertilizer effect, favorable absorption of nutrients such as phosphorus and potassium, and high fertilizer utilization rate.
Sulfur based compound fertilizer: sulfur is the fourth largest nutrient element after nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, which can effectively improve the sulfur deficiency in soil and directly provide sulfur for crops.
Chlorine based compound fertilizer: a large amount of chlorine ion residue is formed in the soil, which is easy to cause adverse phenomena such as soil hardening, salinization and alkalization, so as to deteriorate the soil environment and reduce the nutrient absorption capacity of crops. However, chlorine ion can promote photosynthesis and fiber formation, which is particularly suitable for fiber crops such as hemp.
Urea based compound fertilizer: after the nitrogen element in the fertilizer is applied to the soil, it needs to be transformed into ammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen before plants can absorb it. Therefore, in the process of application, it should be applied in advance in areas with low temperature.
Different application methods
Nitrate sulfur based compound fertilizer: it can be used as base fertilizer or topdressing to meet the nutrient needs of crops in different growth periods.
Sulfur based compound fertilizer: it can be used as base fertilizer, topdressing, seed fertilizer and topdressing outside the root.
Chlorine based compound fertilizer: it can be used as base fertilizer and topdressing. When using base fertilizer and seed fertilizer, it should be used in combination with organic fertilizer and phosphate rock powder on neutral soil.
Urea based compound fertilizer: due to the presence of biuret, attention should be paid to burning seedlings during application, and deep soil covering should be applied during application to prevent ammonia loss. The specific scope of application of urine based compound fertilizer depends on whether the fertilizer contains chloride ion or sulfur element. If it contains chloride ion, the scope of application shall be according to the scope of application of chlorine based compound fertilizer and sulfur element, and the scope of application shall be according to the scope of application of sulfur based compound fertilizer.
